As enablers of future SW and HW engineering technologies, you will excel in our highly dynamic, customer-focused environment, and be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for maintaining all aspects of engineering development infrastructure.

This full-time role operates under the principles of Agile methodology and involves working closely with software and hardware development engineers and managers. We emphasize automation in every step as we transition our complex flagship product toward a continuous integration and continuous delivery DevSecOps model.

Basic Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate in this role will be a critical technical support resource responsible for:

  • Assisting internal customers on development tools used in both SW and HW engineering groups

  • Triaging and troubleshooting IT incidents affecting engineering development

  • Collaborating with various core IT teams on infrastructure improvement projects

  • Performance benchmarking, monitoring key systems and services, and automating metrics collection processes

  • Maintaining technical support documentation

  • Leading a team of 6 to 7 support engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence

    Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be able to work during weekends on rotations and flexible hours

  • 7+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree related to information technology

  • 3+ years of experience in a lead/manager role

  • Strong automation/orchestration experience (Jenkins preferred)

  • Strong knowledge with Linux administration (RedHat preferred)

  • Strong customer service skills with previous HelpDesk experience

  • A self-motivated person continuously striving to grow and to keep up with modern technologies

  • An excellent communicator and able to work without direct supervision

  • Highly organized and skilled in effective task prioritization and always ahead of others

  • An innovative thinker unafraid of failure and passionate about embracing challenges

    Leadership & Functional Management Skills:

  • Direct supervision, performance reviews, and career development for team members

  • Assigning tasks, balancing workloads, and managing team resources

  • Leading technical sessions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing

  • Driving best practices, process optimization, and continuous improvement

  • Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders

  • Reporting status, risks, and technical concepts to management and clients

    Nice to have:

  • Experience with GitHub and proficiency in various Source Control Management systems (e.g., Git, AccuRev, ClearCase, SVN)

  • Expertise in Kubernetes deployment and compute virtualization technologies such as VMWare

  • Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud computing

  • Knowledge of FlexLM License management

  • Background in Software Build and Release processes.
