How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Champion Care Access and Quality: Provide comprehensive, hands-on oversight of all nursing department operations, ensuring patient access needs are met daily and that every patient receives the highest standard of appropriate care.

  • Strategic Delegation: Drive operational efficiency and staff development by accurately assessing the skills and abilities of clinical staff and strategically delegating duties, coupled with ongoing monitoring to maintain high clinical proficiency.

  • Process Excellence: Proactively collaborate with department leadership to ensure all clinical and operational processes are current, compliant, and consistently followed by the team.

  • Build a World-Class Team: Oversee the entire talent lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, training, directing, coaching, and conducting meaningful performance evaluations for all nursing staff.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively lead and participate in ongoing quality initiatives, managing auditing projects, and developing strategic improvement plans to elevate both patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

Previous RN critical care experience required.
