Modern International, Inc. Construction Supervisor (Generator Installations) in Barrigada, Guam
Supervises the construction and installation of generators to ensure all work complies with contract requirements, technical specifications, applicable codes, and DoD/NAVFAC standards. Conducts daily inspections of generator construction activities, including materials, workmanship, and installation methodsto confirm compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality control plans. Leads and participates in preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings for all definable features of work (DFOW) related to generator installation. Enforces adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements. Identifies, documents, and tracks deficiencies and non-conformance issues, ensuring timely corrective action. Reviews and monitors testing and commissioning activities to verify results meet required standards and manufacturer specifications. Verifies that materials, equipment, and workmanship conform to approved submittals and technical requirements. Maintains complete and accurate project documentation, including Daily Quality Control Reports (DQCRs), inspection logs, and photo records. Confers with managerial and engineering staff and subcontractors in order to resolve problems or to coordinate activities. Prepares deficiency reports and coordinates follow-up actions to ensure full resolution.
