What Youll Do
- Own end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy, consistency, and care for a district of approximately 600 hourly and salaried employees (bi-weekly)
- Collaborate closely with HR/Finance Team to ensure seamless data flow
- Navigate payroll changes (new hires, promotions, terminations, benefits, compliance updates) with confidence
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for payroll-related questionsclear, patient, and approachable
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce risk
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies

What You Bring
- A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in payroll processing (public or private school experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, regulations, and best practices, including 5 or more years of payroll experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range is \$65,000 - \$72,000, commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive benefits package includes: health & dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, 5% employer contribution to 403B, vacation time & paid time off
