Allen in Barre, MA, focuses on the Power Generation Engineered Pump Repair Market, performing high-quality, precision machining for pump overhauls and parts. Key duties include operating manual and CNC machinery, interpreting blueprints, and performing field machining, installations, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities -Production & Repair: Set up and operate machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce or repair custom mechanical components. -Technical Work: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and sketches to determine specifications. -Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions. -Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment. -Collaboration: Work with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Requirements -Experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, specifically with pumps, is preferred. -Ability to work with various materials and tight tolerances. -Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
