Part-time openings up to $52 an hour with weekly pay.

As a Speech Therapist, you will:

  • Provide resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload

  • Participate in the clinical team process

  • Provide teaching and training to staff

  • Screen patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans

  • May perform additional assigned administrative duties

  • Under a physician’s order, provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care

  • Consult with and train patients/residents and caregivers

  • Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with the supervisor

  • Document activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis

  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation

  • Participate in the training and orientation of other staff

  • Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy

  • Must possess an active and unencumbered Speech Therapist license in the state, or be in the process or eligible to obtain one

  • Newly licensed graduates welcome to apply!

  • Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary

  • Excellent hearing and verbal skills required for directing staff, customer relations, and marketing activities

  • Manual dexterity required for documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and for direct patient care

  • Requires intense attention and concentration

  • Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others

  • Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
