Hyatt Sales Trainee (Internship) in BARCELONA, Spain

At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for motivated, detail‑oriented, and proactive students to join our Sales Internship Program . If you are passionate about hospitality, client relations, and learning how a luxury hotel develops commercial strategies, this internship offers an exceptional opportunity to grow within our Sales & Events team.

The Sales Trainee plays a key role in supporting daily sales activities, assisting with client communication, preparing proposals, and contributing to the commercial success of the hotel.

Qualifications:

What You’ll Do

  • Assist Sales Managers with client enquiries , including defining client needs, qualifying leads, and preparing proposals, proformas, and contracts

  • Support CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) missions linked to Sales initiatives

  • Assist in client site visits , including preparation, coordination, and hosting

  • Support proactive sales actions, helping identify and reach out to potential clients

  • Conduct side missions such as data analysis, benchmarking, and inventory tasks

  • Maintain and update CRM information (leads, contacts, activities, follow‑ups)

  • Assist with reports, forecasts, and market insight summaries

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Events, Reservations, and Marketing teams

Who You Are

  • Student of Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, or similar(able to sign an internship agreement)

  • Fluent in Spanish; English is a plus

  • Organized, proactive, communicative, and detail‑oriented

  • Comfortable supporting commercial tasks and working with data

  • Available for a minimum of 5 months

  • Eligible for internships in Spain/EU
