As Principal Product Manager for B2C AI Experience, you will define and drive the strategic vision for how millions of subscribers discover and engage with Dow Jones journalism. Your mission is to transform our consumer brands (WSJ, Barron's, MarketWatch, etc.) into daily, indispensable experiences by orchestrating AI-powered search, personalization, and discovery capabilities across web and mobile platforms. You will own "Consumer Magic" - creating seamless, intelligent experiences that make premium journalism accessible, engaging, and habit-forming.

This is a highly strategic and influential role requiring exceptional leadership without authority. You will harmonize competing stakeholder priorities across brand product teams, newsroom leadership, and platform engineering teams. You will translate complex platform capabilities - built by our Search, AI, and Personalization Platform PMs - into cohesive consumer experiences that drive measurable business outcomes: subscriber retention, daily active usage, and session depth.

This role reports to the VP of PM for Platforms.

You Will:

  • Define and execute multi-year B2C product strategy for search, AI, and personalization across WSJ, MarketWatch, and Barron's, balancing subscriber engagement goals with platform capabilities

  • Lead strategic partnerships with Brand Product Leaders, newsroom stakeholders, and Platform PMs, negotiating priorities and driving alignment across Director/VP-level stakeholders

  • Own end-to-end product execution from vision through scaled deployment across web and mobile, establishing measurement frameworks and experimentation programs that connect features to business outcomes

  • Drive 0-to-1 innovation through customer discovery, competitive analysis, and breakthrough feature pilots that create differentiated consumer experiences

  • Champion mobile-first experiences and operational excellence, providing strategic guidance on technical decisions while mentoring product managers on best practices

You Have:

  • 10+ years of product management experience leading high-impact B2C subscription products at scale (millions of users), with measurable impact on engagement, retention, and business growth

  • Expert mobile product expertise with successful launches of mobile-first features and deep understanding of native iOS/Android ecosystems

  • Proven stakeholder influence across senior leadership (Director/VP level), with ability to harmonize competing priorities, negotiate roadmap space, and drive consensus in complex organizations

  • Strong technical and analytical acumen, including experience with personalization/recommendation systems, AI/ML product integration, search optimization, and rigorous A/B testing methodologies

  • Track record of cross-functional leadership partnering with engineering, design, data science, newsroom/editorial teams, and business leaders to deliver ambitious initiatives

  • Executive presence and communication excellence, with ability to influence without authority, articulate complex trade-offs, and tailor messaging across audiences (engineers, executives, editorial, commercial)

  • Experience with publishing/media domain knowledge, advanced experimentation platforms (Statsig, Optimizely), analytics tools (Looker, Adobe Analytics) is a plus.
