HP Inc. Business Solution Architect - Compliance & Sustainability in Barcelona, Spain
The role of the Supply Chain and Operations (SC&O) function is to Plan, Source, Make and Deliver HP Inc. products and services for our channel partners, customers and internal use on a global basis. The function also includes coordination and collaboration with multiple internal and external partners, e.g. suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers and customers. Job family encompass SC&O Strategic Development, Business Operations, Strategic Procurement, Procurement Operations (including sourcing and logistics), Materials & Distribution and Manufacturing Operations, Global Product Compliance & Sustainable Impact. This role will have a specific focus on Global Product Compliance & Sustainable Impact .
Job Summary:
Strategic Development for HP Global Product Compliance & Sustainable Impact organization
The Business Architect's architecture is the "connective tissue" that integrates strategies across multiple programs and projects and ensures alignment with business strategies and outcomes. This "connective tissue" is a series of explicit graphical models that, at a minimum, define and describe the goals the business is trying to achieve, the processes needed to be performed to meet these goals, the data needed to perform the processes, and the roles and responsibilities required to perform the process activities. Architects design various processes and documents that companies use to pursue their core values, align business practices and execute plans. These architects produce supporting documents, such as maps, models, process diagrams and presentations, to communicate their ideas and advise others. They provide support and guidance in consultations that assess a business's capabilities, establish goals and communicate designs to clients, executives and other managers. This multifaceted job profile requires technical proficiencies and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Providing an overview of the capabilities of the organization.
Describing the strategy of the organization, managing the process of identifying opportunities, threats and limitations of the organization and providing insights of the required work to facilitate implementation
Align capabilities to strategy. And ensure that new capabilities do not adversely affect existing ones.
Guide investment and ensure new work is consistent with the investment strategy of the organization
Improve decision making on what to work on by ensuring all costs to manifest value are understood
Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
Support the resolution of inter and intra program & project issues
Research and assessment of new technology for potential use within a domain
Coach and mentor other staff members at lower (Expert, Intermediate, and Entry) levels in Business Analysts and/or Business Architect roles
Knowledge and Skills Desired
Planning and analysis experience including modeling graphical representation and abstractions
Systems and/or supply applications background (10+ years) with proficiency in learning software quickly
Advanced communication skills, catered to a wide variety and levels of audiences
Superior business acumen
Strong understanding of how to apply policies and procedures to business process transformation
Advanced multi-tasking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
Advanced consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
Group session facilitation

Education and Experience Required
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience in supply chain or related field.
Typically has 5+ years of experience in direct/indirect people leadership.

Salary
The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
