CNC Operator

Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a new career? Manpower is hiring a CNC Operator on behalf of a manufacturer in the tri-state area.

Responsibilities:

•Maintain operations and daily upkeep of 5 axis CNC mills.

•Ability to understand existing programs and develop programs as required.

•Set up and operate numerical control (magnetic- or punched-tape-controlled) machine tools that automatically mill, drill, broach, and ream metal and plastic parts. May adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machine malfunctions.

•Ability to understand and use macro programming

•Read calipers and other types of measuring devices

• Read and understand operation and technical manuals.

• Ability to understand mechanical prints and drawings.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Trade or technical school training desirable.

• One-year experience performing or training to operate a CNC milling machine.

• Experience on Haas equipment (preferred)
