- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within the healthcare facility.
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, operating rooms, and common areas.
- Following strict hygiene and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Disposing of medical waste, general waste, and pharmaceutical waste according to safety regulations.
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens throughout the facility.
- Utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Responding to immediate cleaning needs in high-traffic areas like the ER or OR.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to leadership immediately.
\ \ What Youll Bring:\ The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Personal Characteristics:High level of dependability, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Experience:Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required.
- Physical Abilities:Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and kneel for the duration of the shift; must be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and 1025 lbs frequently.
