Athletic Field Maintenance (Seasonal)
Under the direct supervision of the Athletic Field Maintenance Supervisor, this position provides assistance with a variety of maintenance related activities with a variety of athletic playing fields around the City. Sports fields must be maintained daily to provide safe and playable areas for all users. Duties include watering, weed removal, dragging, setting bases, lines, as well as repairing dirt and turf surfaces; assisting with custodial duties, restroom cleaning, litter control, and complex inspection activities, identify and refer any needed repairs discovered at any location, ability to operate a variety of power equipment including riding mowers, motorized utility carts, and other pieces of equipment as needed. This is a 35-40 hour per week position with a pay range of $16.01 to $21.52 per/hour. The duration of this position can range from 3 to 10 months.
