Description:
The Commis I – Chopper III (Chinese Kitchen) supports the kitchen team by preparing and chopping ingredients required for Chinese cuisine. This role assists chefs in daily food preparation while ensuring quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, seafood, and other ingredients for Chinese dishes according to kitchen requirements.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and mise en place for Chinese menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and food preparation areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Support the Chinese Kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in kitchen preparation, preferably in a Chinese kitchen, is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
