Abbott Associate Key Account Manager – (AMD Molecular) in Bangkok, Thailand
Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Support growth of existing accounts and development of new business opportunities through close collaboration with distributors.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and KOLs, acting as a trusted point of contact.
Introduce and position the company portfolio through technical, clinical, and product presentations.
Plan and execute marketing, training, and educational activities, including conferences and academic events.
Identify, qualify, and track sales opportunities; accurately input and update CRM data for deals and pipelines.
Gather and analyze market data, customer insights, and competitor information, including pricing, positioning, and activity trends, and share actionable insights with the Business Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and align with Abbott regional and global stakeholders.
Provide regular activity reports, opportunity updates, and structured market intelligence feedback to the Business Manager.
Scope & Impact
Geographic Scope: Thailand
Customer Scope: Hospitals, laboratories, and key healthcare stakeholders (via direct and distributor engagement)
Financial Impact: Direct influence on revenue growth, account retention, and new opportunity creation
Strategic Impact: Provides frontline market, customer, and competitor insights to support commercial planning and portfolio strategy
Decision‑Making: Day‑to‑day prioritization of customer engagement, distributor coordination, and opportunity development within defined strategies
Reporting Line
- Reports directly to Business Manager, Thailand
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical, Medical, Business, or equivalent experience
2–5 years of experience in sales or commercial support within medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare
Experience working with distributors preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Structured thinking with ability to collect, interpret, and report market data and insights
CRM proficiency and opportunity pipeline management capability
Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken)
Travel Requirement
Regular domestic travel within Thailand
Occasional regional travel for meetings, training, or conferences
