Job Title: Specialist, Technology Delivery

Job Summary:

Drive the successful delivery of technology projects for Digital Workplace Services in the areas of integrating newly acquired companies into Pearson landscape and upfit readiness of additions to our Property portfolio. This role blends project management with hands-on technology delivery, ensuring that all initiatives are planned, coordinated, and executed to meet business goals. You’ll be the go-to person for aligning stakeholders, leading meetings, and keeping projects on track—making a real impact on how Pearson grows and innovates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology delivery for newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness.

  • Help manage technology readiness for new property locations, from initial planning through to successful launch.

  • Coordinate and engage stakeholders across business and technical teams to align on project goals and requirements.

  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate project meetings, driving clear communication and accountability.

  • Track project progress, proactively identify risks or blockers, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership and team members.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with a focus on delivering results.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience with technology delivery in an agile or fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep teams motivated.

  • Intermediate proficiency in adaptability, learning to learn, and artificial intelligence concepts.

  • Considers themselves analytical and a self-starter.

Qualifications (Education & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Technology, Business, Project Management).

  • Proven experience leading technology projects or delivery initiatives, ideally in a multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks is a plus.

  • Comfort with communicating across lines of business.
