• Develops software consistent with Cisco ‘Design Thinking Principles’ with a focus on simplification and UX (User Experience) at its core, using secure coding practices, ensuring user privacy, and following software development best practices. Partners with other teams including design and product management to create the right solution for the customers. Creates technical design documentation to be used by the team as well as contributing to user documentation to be used by end users. Debugs and addresses software issues during development and in production systems to support customers. Brings new ideas for product innovation and helps improve software development processes.

• Job DescriptionJob Description Role Overview: Cisco's Industrial IoT Business Unit (BU) is among the fastest-growing units, generating approximately $1 billion in revenue. It emphasizes innovation, a Customer First mindset, and a One Team culture. As we strengthen our IIoT leadership, we aim to reimagine the Industrial Management portfolio with a focus on Operational Technology (OT) users, delivering a simplified user experience and robust security management.In this role, you will work on Cisco's IIoT management strategy, with focus on embedded single / multi-device management, creating a simplified user experience for network and security management to help customers effectively manage their critical industrial networks. Responsibilities

• Use of Strengths: Leverage your UI development skills daily to contribute effectively to projects

• Developing new user-facing features using Angular.js / React.js

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Embrace Change and AI: Be open to adopting AI-driven tools and approaches that can enhance UI development and user experience. Who You Are A qualified candidate will possess:

• MS/BS in computer science or engineering

• 1 to 3 years of software UI development experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Thorough understanding of Angular.JS, React.js and its core principles

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux), experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools GIT.

• Thorough understanding of unit test framework like Jest and Enzyme.

• AI tools experience / proficiency is a plus
