Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot, REST, and JPA
Build and optimize REST APIs and PostgreSQL database interactions
Implement distributed logging, tracing, and observability using APM tools (Splunk, Grafana, Datadog etc)
Review, debug, and optimize code; ensure quality using JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito
Contribute across the full SDLC, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and cloud/container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure)
Automate workflows and improve deployment and monitoring processes
Closely work with Business Teams, Onshore partners, deployment and infrastructure teams
Maintain technical documentation and ensure systems remain modern, scalable, and high‑performing
Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.

Required Qualifications:
7+ years total product engineering experience with solid foundations on engineering architecture, design thinking with 3+ years of managing teams experience
Solid experience building Microservices using Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Spring REST, and JPA
Experience with JBoss, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and GitHub‑based CI/CD (nice to have depending on team setup)
Solid understanding of DDD, OOP, asynchronous programming, and event‑driven architectures
Proven skilled in REST API development and APM practices including distributed logging and tracing
Proven hands‑on with database queries, performance tuning, and PostgreSQL
Proven solid analytical and problem‑solving skills; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills including written and verbal skills with the ability to create and maintain solid relationships with members of cross departmental teams
