Veralto Senior User Experience Engineer in Bangalore, India

Imagine yourself…

  • Shaping the experience of professional users around the world

  • Growing your expertise by working on design systems and platform foundations at scale

  • Thriving in a collaborative product design team where UX truly matters

It’s all possible with a role at Esko. Esko, a Veralto company, is a global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate the go‑to‑market process of packaged goods. Our cloud platform S2 brings together multiple professional products used in complex, high‑stakes workflows across packaging and supply chains.

Innovation is built into our DNA. We continuously improve how our products work, how our teams collaborate, and how design scales across a growing SaaS platform. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply and help shape the future of Esko’s user experience.

The role

The Senior User Experience Engineer plays a key role in shaping the shared UX foundations of Esko’s S2 cloud platform. This role is based in Bangalore and is part of Esko’s wider product design organization, working in a product operating model where UX is a first‑class citizen.

Your two main assignments:

1. Design system & platform foundations (primary focus)

This is the largest and most important part of the role. You will spend most of your time designing, evolving, and maintaining Esko’s design system, which supports multiple product teams building on S2.

You will define and refine visual foundations such as typography, color, spacing, layout, and interaction patterns; design high‑quality reusable components and patterns; and translate UX principles into practical, scalable building blocks.

You will work deeply in Figma, managing libraries, components, variants, tokens, and auto‑layout, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure the system is buildable, adopted, and continuously improved.

2. Cloud product onboarding on S2

Alongside the foundation work, you will contribute to onboarding experiences for Esko’s cloud products on S2, helping new users get value quickly in complex professional software.

This includes designing first‑time user experiences, guidance, empty states, and learning moments that feel coherent, approachable, and human, while staying aligned with the shared platform foundations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5 to 8 years of total experience , with 5+ years of relevant experience in UX or Product Designing

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, with significant experience working on design systems in Figma.

  • Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, color, and UI craftsmanship

  • Advanced Figma expertise, including component libraries, variants, auto‑layout, and system‑level design

  • Experience designing for SaaS or complex professional software products

  • A portfolio that clearly demonstrates design‑system work as well as user‑facing experiences.

Why join Esko?

You’ll be part of a broader product design team with talented colleagues across Esko, collaborating globally from our Bangalore location. We work in a dynamic SaaS environment where design is involved early and helps shape how the S2 platform evolves.

As part of Veralto, Esko contributes to a broader mission of safeguarding the world’s most vital resources. Here, purpose meets possibility — meaningful work, strong foundations, and real opportunities to grow.
