What You Can Expect

The primary role of the Senior Business Analyst consists of analyzing business processes defining functional application requirements and implementing/customizing the corresponding functional requirements in a business application such as SAP and connected SAAS applications. In addition, the Business Analyst provides ongoing 2nd level support for the application(s) within his/ her area of responsibility.

The Business Analyst works closely together with (key-) users and management to understand, improve and implement business process requirements. The Business Analyst has an understanding of the overall direction and requirements of Zimmer Biomet’s business with respect to products, customer needs, quality requirements and sales goals.

As many implementations and changes to existing processes are managed as projects, the Business Analyst may be responsible to lead small to medium sized projects (including project budget and resources) and work with external vendors (e.g., consultants).

The Business Analyst will be required to work as part of the global IT team.

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in office)

How You'll Create Impact

  • Analyze and document business processes within the functional area of expertise (e.g., quality, finance, logistics, customer service, etc.)

  • Recommend business process improvements

  • Design (technical) solutions to the functional requirements

  • Customize and implement solutions within a business application such as SAP/SMS/MOVE

  • Work with IT Analysts from other functional areas to make sure processes integrate/interface seamlessly

  • Recommend changes needed to corresponding master data

  • Document all customizing and program changes

  • Write requirements and technical specifications as well as test scripts

  • Test all customizing and program changes

  • Keep systems and applications in a validated state according to legal and corporate requirements with respect to, e.g., FDA and SOX

  • Train (key-) users on the changes

  • Provide on-going support to users for the processes and functions within the responsibility of the Business Analyst (issue resolution)

  • Manage, update and communicate status of open issue list assigned

  • Be reachable outside normal office hours for emergency support

  • For small to medium size projects assigned: setup project plan with tasks, milestones, timeline, dependencies and budget. Define resource requirements.

  • Contact external (consulting) resources or vendors if needed for 3rd level support

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments within the functional area of responsibility as well as the application/module that you are responsible for

  • Time management: balance time between (small) projects and on-going support

Your Background

Tertiary level qualifications coupled with 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.

The incumbent will have experience in the following functions of SAP:

  • Sales document types and processes (Inquiry, Sales order, Delivery, Shipping, Billing), Item category and document flow especially with the consignment process.

  • Condition technique particularly in Pricing, Rebates and Output determination.

  • ATP configuration and analysis

  • Customer Service configuration and analysis

  • Batch management, Serial numbers and Handling Units

  • IDOC management

  • Stock Transport Orders (Inter and intra plant) configuration and process

  • SD interface with MM and FI

Physical Requirements

Travel Expectations

As this is an Asia Pacific support role, the person will be required to travel throughout Asia Pacific from time to time. (Estimate: 5 to 15% travel)
