Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager: Workday, you will lead a project team in delivering Workday solutions, ensuring that the project is completed according to the project charter or contract. You will hold performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Project Plan and Budget: Develop and manage the project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements, including both IBM and client employees and third-party vendors. • Coordinate Stakeholders: Coordinate and manage the various stakeholders, including the Delivery Leader and Workday and Account Executives, to deliver the project on time and within budget. • Lead Project Team: Lead a project team in delivering Workday solutions, ensuring that the project is completed according to the project charter or contract. • Manage Scope and Schedule: Manage scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables to ensure project success. • Collaborate with Executives: Work closely with the Delivery Leader and Workday and Account Executives in delivering the overall program.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Project Management Experience: Experience with managing projects, including developing and managing project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements. • Workday Solution Delivery: Experience in delivering Workday solutions, ensuring projects are completed according to project charters or contracts. • Stakeholder Management: Experience with coordinating and managing various stakeholders, including delivery leaders, executives, and third-party vendors. • Scope and Schedule Management: Experience in managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables to ensure project success. • Team Leadership: Experience with leading project teams, including IBM and client employees, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Strong Workday Configuration Skills: Experience with Workday configuration, including setup and implementation of Workday modules, is beneficial for this role. • IT Service Management Knowledge: Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices, such as ITIL, can be an asset in managing project scope and deliverables. • Agile Methodology Exposure: Exposure to agile methodologies and their application in project management can be advantageous in delivering Workday solutions.
