Your role and responsibilities
Supports implementation and production support of SAP HANA Security. Uses business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate protected important data from unauthorized access and ensures that the standards and compliance meet as security standard adopted by the company.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP HANA application security solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP HANA-based applications. Requires strong technical skills in SAP HANA application security, as well as knowledge of security principles and best practices. The Package Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP HANA application security with other SAP systems and third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and customize SAP security settings to meet client requirements
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) in SAP systems
Design and implement SAP security policies and procedures
Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)
Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and translate them into functional solutions
Provide training and support to clients on SAP security best practices and tools
Stay up-to-date with new features and releases of SAP security modules
Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Stay up to date with the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices
Required technical and professional expertise
Candidate must have min. 6-12 years of solid SAP Security Implementation experience with focus on Role authorizations.
Solid implementation and hands-on experience in ECC 6.0 role build.
Experience in working with stakeholders and leading SAP security projects.
Sound understanding of SOD - segregation of duties.
Support technical requirement gathering, develop prototypes/PoCs recommend solutions with limited information from the business, delivery quality technical specifications and documentation.
