What You Can Expect
The JD Edwards IT Technical Lead Analyst is responsible for engineering, administering and supporting enterprise-level application environments with respect to Enterprise One. Programming experience with advanced technical knowledge JD Edwards toolset and programming is required. The IT Lead Analyst JDE Technical Analyst implements, maintains and monitors the applications as a technical SME, consistent with Zimmer’s IT internal controls standards and SLAs. This requires thought leadership around implementation solutions through planning, design, technical configuration and testing, as well as strong analysis and troubleshooting skills for support. A good understanding of databases, business processes and operating systems knowledge is required during frequent interaction with Zimmer Biomet Corporate IT teams. The role also requires effective management of relationships with Zimmer Biomet business leaders, suppliers and customers as well, as appropriate budgetary control.

How You'll Create Impact
Technical support of business processes, application functions/capabilities and projects from concept through design, implementation, testing, documentation, ongoing support, tuning, monitoring and maintenance of JD Edwards applications
Manage JDE projects that include new module implementation, enhancement and 3rd party systems integrations
Leads assignments and/or maintains systems of medium to large complexity, including requirements definition, internal/external resource management and budgets.
Evaluation/recommendation and implementation of standards, approaches, tools and methodologies to help streamline the technical support of JD Edwards applications
Technical support for upstream and downstream 3rd party systems connected to JD Edwards
Anticipate and resolve issues/barriers impeding progress, ensure high availability of JD Edwards systems
Proactively and continuously seeks to improve the application to efficiently deliver high value to the business.
Meets or exceeds customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency and business value.
Acts as change agent for critical change projects in the organization.
Drive strategic initiatives, programs or projects.

What Makes You Stand Out
Gather/document business requirements based on JDE technology
Excellent programming using E1 development toolset of Application (including power forms), Reports (including financial reporting) and Business function using C and NER.
Expert knowledge of BSSV and Orchestrator
Develop proficiency in JDE Modules Finance, MDM, PDM, Planning Logistics, Sourcing, Shop Floor Control, Manufacturing and Sales Order Management + Client enhancements
Support development of functional specs/create detailed technical specs
Ensure coding/testing/debugging/documentation follows SDLC/quality validation
Demonstrate complex problem-solving skills to assist in resolution of business problems/propose solutions to prevent recurring problems
Work cooperatively with technical or application personnel across IT teams to accomplish enterprise-wide goals and resolve conflict
Provides mentoring and coaching to junior team members
Leads projects, solutions and/or processes of medium to high complexity. May include leading teams of non-employee resources
Actively participate in committees representing inter/intra IT organizations
Influences and negotiates to achieve business strategy and deliver results to internal/external partners
Your Background
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required with at least 18+ years relative professional experience; Technical IT certifications preferred.
