What You Can Expect
The IT Manager, Networks & Security is responsible for leading the design, implementation, security, and operation of the organization’s enterprise network and network security infrastructure. This role manages a team of network and security engineers and oversees WAN, LAN, wireless, cloud networking, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud environments. The role partners closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure network services aligned with business and risk objectives.
Work Location : Bangalore
Work Mode : Hybrid(3 days in office)
How You'll Create Impact
Network & Security Strategy
• Define and execute enterprise network and network security strategy aligned with IT and business goals
• Own standards, architectures, and roadmaps for LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud networking, and perimeter security
• Ensure network designs support scalability, resiliency, performance, and Zero Trust principles
Network Infrastructure Management
• Oversee design, deployment, and operation of:
o WAN / SD-WAN
o LAN & Wireless (campus, branch)
o Load balancers
o Firewalls and proxy services
o Cloud networking (IaaS / PaaS)
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
• Manage ISPs, carriers, and network service providers
Network Security & Risk Management
• Lead implementation and enforcement of network security controls
• Partner with Cybersecurity and GRC teams on risk assessments and remediation
• Ensure secure connectivity for users, applications, and third parties
• Support audits, incident response, and regulatory requirements
People Leadership & Operations
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of network and security engineers
• Manage on-call, escalation, and incident response processes
• Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career development
• Manage vendor relationships and support contracts
Governance, Change & Service Management
• Ensure compliance with ITSM, change management, and security policies
• Track operational KPIs (availability, latency, incidents, security events)
• Communicate risks, status, and roadmap updates to IT leadership

Your Background
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking and network security
• 5+ years in a people-management or formal technical leadership role
• Experience supporting large, distributed, or global network environments
• Demonstrated experience operating production-critical network infrastructure, 24/7 environment.
