Job summary
The Tech Lead for Python and Data Science is responsible for leading a team of developers and data scientists to design develop and implement data-driven solutions. Responsibilities
Leadership and Mentorship
Lead and mentor a team of Python developers and data scientists
Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
Project Management
Oversee the architecture and technical design of projects
Manage project timelines deliverables and stakeholder communications
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Technical Development
Design and develop scalable and robust software solutions using Python
Implement data science models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
Ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices
Collaboration
Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality products
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Coordinate with other technical leads to ensure consistency and integration across projects
Innovation and Optimization
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Python and data science
Experiment with new models techniques and tools to improve existing solutions
Optimize performance and scalability of data driven applications
Required Skills
Proficiency in Python programming and data science libraries such as Pandas NumPy Scikit learn TensorFlow and PyTorch
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis
Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib Seaborn and Plotly
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark and Kafka
Knowledge of data preprocessing feature engineering and data wrangling
Proficiency in setting up and managing CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or Azure DevOps
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Google Cloud Platform GCP and Microsoft Azure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
Experience in developing innovative solutions to complex problems
Experience and Qualifications
Experience Twelve plus years of hands on experience in application design and engineering
Degree MSc MTech BTech in Computer Science AI or a related field
Industry Experience Experience in a similar role within the industry
Certifications Relevant certifications in Data Science AI and Machine Learning
