Hyatt Executive Housekeeper in BANGALORE, India

POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading all Housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house (non-kitchen) areas. This role drives exceptional guest experiences in line with Hyatt’s Purpose of Care while managing people, costs, and brand standards effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day Housekeeping operations, ensuring compliance with Hyatt brand and service standards.

  • Ensure exceptional cleanliness, room readiness, and presentation for all guests, including VIP and special-request rooms.

  • Lead, train, and develop the Housekeeping team, fostering a culture of care, teamwork, and accountability.

  • Manage departmental budgets, inventories, vendors, and cost control initiatives.

  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, statutory, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.

  • 8–12 years of Housekeeping experience in a branded hotel environment, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, guest service standards, and people management.

  • Proven ability to manage teams, control costs, and deliver consistent service excellence.
