Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Integrated Flight Deck Systems Center of Excellence. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
Job Expectations:
You will be responsible for developing software requirements, design, code, test, and integrate real-time embedded software for avionics displays product line.
Interact with Software lead and Systems Engineers to clarify requirements and work the high-level software design.
Ensures design adheres to architecture, works with first-time right mindset to meet customer and human factors requirements.
Communicate effectively with functional leads/team members and other stakeholders to arrive a common architecture goal.
Able to work with architects to take decisions on design level changes and translate them to detailed design documents.
Troubleshooting and fixing issues arising from Applications/Flight testing.
Be self-motivated towards developing and demonstrating new product features to support growth.
You will be a member of a cross-functional development team where communication and teaming skills are highly valued.
Skills Requirements:
B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 2-3 years Real Time Embedded Software development experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions. Working experience and knowledge in Displays product lines is preferred.
Proven Software programming/design expertise demonstrated on programs using C, C++, RTOS including good technical knowledge in graphics programming using OpenGL.
Good hands on embedded software debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in design, software development and reviews. Hands on experience on development of Software and Design requirements from Higher level specification.
Knowledge and some experience working with ARINC A661 and SCADE will be plus.
Knowledge and some experience working with Aerospace standards, Architecture principles, Coding standards and familiarity with DO178B/C will be a plus.
Working knowledge in Configuration management tools like DOORS/Dimensions/BitBucket/JIRA etc.
Experience working on projects deploying Agile methodologies, strong team player with experience of working in a scrum team developing products incrementally in sprints.
Good awareness of the business and technological opportunities and challenges.
Must have excellent communication, collaboration and networking skills.
