Role Definition: Designs, validates, and releases electrical subsystems and components for high power, high voltage products, contributing from concept to production under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, Analysis, Build and Release

• Contribute to electrical design and architecture (power path, aux supplies, sensing, protection, grounding).

• Create schematics; coordinate with PCB layout for thermal, power density, creepage/clearance, and EMI performance.

• Own component selection & sizing across power, control, sensing, and protection circuits.

• Develop Schematic in PTC Creo; specify connectors, gauges, shielding, and routing rules.

• Apply EMC/EMI practices (filters, CM/DM control, partitioning, star ground, shielding).

• Perform design calculations, validating simulation results.

• Maintain BoMs (alternates/second sources), drawings, and reports; manage changes via ECR/ECN in PLM.

• Build and evaluate prototypes; collaborate with suppliers/CMs for DFM/DFA and yield improvements.

• Electrical system simulation tools (e.g., ETAP) for load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination informing component selection.

• Teamcenter PLM (part numbering, BoM structure, document control, change workflows).

Collaboration & Process

• Work cross functionally with Mechanical, Controls, Systems, Test, and Supply Chain.

• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and continuous improvement activities.

• Translate requirements into detailed design specs and testable acceptance criteria.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics (M.E./M.Tech a plus).

• 2–4 years in Electrical/ Electronics /Power electronics design and lab validation.

• PTC Creo (Schematics & Harness)

• ETAP / MATLAB (optional)

• Teamcenter PLM (preferred)

Additional information: This job required 5days working from office.
