IBM CDS Project Manager in Bangalore, India

IBM Cloud Database Services is a IBM Cloud Service portfolio that hosts multiple Database services on IBM Cloud.
Your role and responsibilities
As a CDS Project Manager, the role includes
Working with cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver product offerings in alignment with approved project charters, offering definitions, and organizational standards for CDS portfolios including the Replatforming to VPC project.
The role has accountability for project status management, including scope, schedule, quality, and contractual deliverables.
Will also provide need to establish and maintains effective communication plans, and delivers regular project status updates to all stakeholders regarding the overall health of the project.
Will need to facilitate and partner on project managing the different aspects of project delivery, including Security, Compliance, Release and Service Framework
Will need to work with multiple DB teams as well as external dependency teams in IBM Cloud to sort out the risks and dependencies for the releases.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Project Portfolio Management: Experience in overseeing project portfolios, providing insight into project purpose and status, and using this information to support project-level activity and ensure program goals are met. Ability to program manage complex projects
• Project Health Maintenance: Experience with monitoring and maintaining the overall health of projects and workflows for business teams, including providing decision-making capacity to drive progress.
• Cross-Project Oversight: Experience in using program-level oversight to support project-level activity, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
• Understanding of SDLC Process : Adept in understanding project delivery lifecycle and ability to pick up the different IBM Cloud Processes and tools.
• Communication : Strong communication skills
Preferred technical and professional experience
Project Management Tools: Experience with utilizing project management tools and techniques to oversee project portfolios and monitor project health.
Basic understanding of Cloud technologies
