Your role and responsibilities

As a Back-End Developer specializing in Artificial Intelligence for IBM Z, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to deliver creative solutions to client problems and requirements in various AI-related areas. You will employ IBM's Design Thinking to create solutions that provide a great user experience along with world-class quality, resiliency, performance, security, and stability. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Code Solutions: Design, code, debug, test, and deliver creative solutions to client problems and requirements in various AI-related areas for IBM Z, leveraging DevOps methodologies.

• Apply IBM Design Thinking: Employ IBM's Design Thinking to create solutions that provide a great user experience along with world-class quality, resiliency, performance, security, and stability.

• Collaborate with Team: Work in an agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet client needs.

• Leverage AI Technologies: Work on leading-edge projects using technologies like machine learning, deep learning, and other AI-related areas to deliver innovative solutions.

• Deliver High-Quality Solutions: Ensure solutions meet the highest standards of quality, resiliency, performance, security, and stability.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to Agile Development: Experience working with agile development methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions to client problems and requirements.

• AI Technology Fundamentals: Exposure to AI-related technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and other areas, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI development, with the ability to design, code, debug, test, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• DevOps Methodologies: Experience working with DevOps methodologies, leveraging tools and practices to ensure efficient and effective solution delivery.

• IBM Design Thinking: Familiarity with IBM's Design Thinking principles, with the ability to apply them to create solutions that provide a great user experience and meet world-class quality standards.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Brain Inspired Algorithms: Exposure to brain-inspired algorithms, learning with memories, and knowledge representation and reasoning, with the ability to apply them to real-world AI problems. • Quantum and Neuromorphic Architectures: Experience working with quantum and neuromorphic architectures, with the ability to leverage them for next-generation AI solutions. • Computer Vision and NLP: Exposure to computer vision, NLP, question answering, and causal inference, with the ability to apply them to deliver innovative AI solutions.
