We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Business Manager
In this role, you will:
Assist in tracking and analysing the Functional Resource Plan (FRP) and workforce plan.
Support the monitoring of direct and indirect cost performance, helping to identify risks and opportunities.
Contribute to the preparation and review of financial plans, forecasts, and headcount reports.
Help track consultancy and third-party spend, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and monitor progress against targets.
Govern resourcing processes and headcount approval to support strategic hiring.
Support with scenario modelling for the corresponding SF or LoB
Provide high-quality Management Information (MI) to support decision-making at the LoB/sub-function level.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&C leadership, Finance, and HR.
Support the identification and execution of opportunities to drive cost reduction and operational improvements.
To be successful you will:
Experience in business management, financial planning, or operational support, ideally within banking or financial services.
Good understanding of financial processes, reporting, and cost management.
Familiarity with data governance and tools-based data quality improvement is an advantage.
Knowledge of best practices in data governance and tools-based data quality improvement.
Demonstrated success in budgetary management, resource management, financial planning, and executive reporting.
Proven track record in delivering performance improvement and applying innovative thinking.
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Excellent analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with MI tools is a plus
