We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Fraud Product Manager

In this role, you will:

  • The role holder is expected to perform a project management role supporting on the delivery of the Credit / Collections / Fraud Change Programs

  • Strong understanding of business domain, its strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical expertise. Ensures the delivery of information to support the strategic and tactical information needs of the organization. Oversees the integrating and staging of data and development of data stores for use by analysts throughout the organization.

  • Prioritizes and assigns large scale business initiatives and Performs high-level review of projects to ensure conformance to business requirements and objectives. Responsible for delivery of high quality analytical solutions for the existing clients / engagements. Partner with business stakeholders in formulating key analytical strategies / decision making to achieve a higher value.

  • Ensure positive score in the Business Partner Surveys. Translate key analytical solutions as generic and re-deployable across regions / counties. Routinely uses management information to monitor and enhance business, projects and system accesses, enforcement of compliance & business policies and people performance

  • Continuously review key risks and proactively institute controls in place to address the same. Inspire trust & credibility among team members, business clients and other stakeholders through highest level of personal integrity, and ethical behavior

  • Ensures equipping team with relevant training, develops team, rewards, recognizes and retains high performers, positively confronts under performance in others, Translates Business Strategic Imperatives into actionable analytical solutions.

  • A sound understanding of industry practices, their strengths and weakness and uses this information to recommend HSBC strategies and plans. Proactively supports change initiatives & innovative analytical thinking & solutions that results into improved business performance

To be successful you will:

  • Applies a good knowledge of project management and uses this to support effective program governance. Experience in Project managing and delivering IT change initiatives

  • Ability to create the complete execution roadmap & delivery activity-based plan to track the milestones progress through regular scrums cadence. Employs strong understanding of analytical tools and techniques to prepare and analyze reports, identifying and sharing areas of risk for program delivery

  • Evaluates and reports on project performance, status and risks & supports critical governance processes i.e. steering committees, toll gates, quality assurance. Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group

  • Understand capabilities and limitations of technical environment (any) that lead the technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the service fulfils the requirements. Ensure the technical requirements tie back to the established customer goals and strategy with right solution delivery in alignment of various technology teams

  • Fraud domain knowledge on various typologies, fraud mitigants and fraud technologies is required. Fraud systems: onboarding or transaction monitoring experience (desired by not mandatory). Ability to drive the testing and validations against various test case scenarios as part of Unit test, System integration test, Performance test etc.

  • Demonstration of providing cohesive support to IT functions in build and release process. As the role holder develops greater expertise and maturity, additional responsibilities will be added:

  • There are multiple teams supporting different aspects analytics for the same larger business problems. The candidate needs to drive collaborations and synergies to integrate the analytics solutions for the business. The candidate is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis.

  • Prioritize best practice adoption & Implements efficiency and process improvement. Mentors’ new joiners and supports their day-to-day deliveries. Implement group improvement initiatives from end-to-end perspective
