Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Architect specializing in Red Hat Cloud solutions, you will analyze and translate IT requirements into modernized components. You will utilize your expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, and business logic extraction to deliver innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Modernized Components: Analyze and translate IT requirements into modernized components, leveraging expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, refactoring, and code conversion. • Develop Hybrid Cloud Applications: Develop and test applications in hybrid cloud environments, utilizing knowledge of Kubernetes-based platforms, integration mechanisms, and service exposure. • Collaborate with Delivery Teams: Collaborate with Delivery/Engagement teams to ensure seamless solution delivery, whenever required. • Enhance Digital Modernization Assets: Reuse and enhance Digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral, with a strong focus on Red Hat OpenShift platform components and services. • Extract Business Logic: Extract business logic into executable business rules, applying expertise in business logic extraction and code conversion.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Legacy Asset Analysis Expertise: Experience with analyzing and translating IT requirements into modernized components, including legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, refactoring, and code conversion. • Hybrid Cloud Development Knowledge: Experience in developing and testing applications in hybrid cloud environments, utilizing Kubernetes-based platforms, integration mechanisms, and service exposure. • Red Hat OpenShift Platform Expertise: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift platform components and services, including reuse and enhancement of Digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral. • Business Logic Extraction Skills: Experience in extracting business logic into executable business rules, applying expertise in business logic extraction and code conversion. • Cloud Integration Mechanisms Understanding: Experience with integration mechanisms and service exposure in cloud environments, including Kubernetes-based platforms.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Cloud Integration Mechanisms Understanding: Experience with integration mechanisms and service exposure in cloud environments, including Kubernetes-based platforms, is beneficial for this role. Knowledge of cloud integration mechanisms can help design and develop scalable and secure applications. Familiarity with service exposure in cloud environments can enable effective collaboration with Delivery/Engagement teams. • Hybrid Cloud Development Knowledge: Experience in developing and testing applications in hybrid cloud environments, utilizing Kubernetes-based platforms, is advantageous. This expertise can facilitate the development of innovative solutions and ensure seamless solution delivery. • Red Hat OpenShift Platform Expertise: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift platform components and services, including reuse and enhancement of Digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral, is desirable.
