Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Wastewater Operations Project Manager to join our team in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project facilities including contract and permit compliance, process control, health and safety, quality, internal/external reporting, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training, performance management and development. Working with other members of our team, you'll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facilities. 6 plus years of experience in in the operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater facility
3 plus years of experience at a supervisory level
Experience working with and successfully overseeing other employees and supervisors in operations and maintenance including process oversight.
Experience developing budgets, tracking actual expenditures vs budget and variance reporting experience in written and oral presentations.
Experience with implementing and maintaining H&S policies and practices.
Demonstrated client management experience
Proficient performing mathematical and algebraic calculations associated with wastewater treatment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
Current valid REAL ID driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
College degree in engineering, technical or business discipline
Baltimore Wastewater Level 5A Certification or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months
Experience with DMS and CMMS
Experience with SCADA systems
Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule
Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
Expected to reside within 30 miles of the Baltimore area or willing to relocate
