Overview
TheProject Managerdemonstrates leadership in supporting, coordinating, and facilitating clinical disciplines, Access-related implementation efforts, and other programs under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services (AVP).
The incumbentwill initiate, lead, and execute innovative administrative and evaluation projects/tasks related to program design,development, and process efficiency, and will support seamless communication and implementation of action plans by leading efforts to collect, track, and input data; create data reports; ensure data integrity; coordinate data needs; develop data systems and processes; and provide data in requested formats.
Responsibilities include maintainingand updatingdepartmental information;assisting with the recruitment and onboarding processes within the department; creating, uploading, and tracking revised departmental forms; collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data; andassistingand acquiring information necessary for departmental meetings and initiatives.Additionally, this position provides assistance and administrative support for the AVP, including participation in project development and implementation, and support for the management of services.The incumbent directly supervises the Manager, Care Center Operations to ensure that all care center and administrative activities (such as Workspace activities, time keeping records, and clinical and clerical equipment needs) are completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Providesupervision of assigned staff, including pay training, pay determination, performance management, completion of performance appraisals, delegation of duties, and progressive discipline.Provideoversight, support, coordination, and facilitationtocare center managementserving the clinical disciplines and programs under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services.
Assistin the development of systems and operating procedures in coordination with Directors andclinical leadershipfor input, organization, and maintenance ofdepartmentdata.
Collaborate withclinical leadershipin development and optimization of administrative systems to include,but notbelimited to,business process,workflow,and standard operating procedures that will improve operating efficiencies, increase productivity, increase revenue, improve patient services, and better support clinic operations.
Collaborate withclinical leadershipin the development and optimization ofperformance management functions and systemsto ensureappropriateand necessarytrainings, resources, and access forcare center andadministrative support staff.
Assist with the design, development,andimplementationstandards for operations to include, but notbelimited to,analyzingstaffing resources,allocatingresources accordingly, andutilizingresources in a manner that is fiscally responsibletoensurethat the clinical programs are properly staffed,and faculty and medical staff are receiving appropriate levels of support.
Measureresults of operational procedures againstdepartmentalstandards and make necessary adjustments.
Collaboratewith directors andclinical leadershiptoassistin the management of daily clinical operationsandsupportforcliniciansin ordertoensure quality patient care and address patient concerns that arise within the clinic.
Collaboratewith directors andclinical leadershiptomake recommendations for implementation of new roles within the department to centralize aspects of clinical operations specific to insurance and scheduling initiatives.
Collaboratewith directors andclinical leadershiptoprovide oversight andcoordination ofprogram evaluation, treatment integrity, and performance improvement projects.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, QualityImprovementand act asco-lead for relevantfocus groups.
Collaborate withclinical department directors and other staff to prepare data for inclusion in documents such as progress reports, Institute communications, grant proposals, academic manuscripts, and funding agencies reports.
Analyzeoperationaltrends and make recommendations for proper adjustments in the schedule templates toassuresolvency.Assistwith implementation of solutions after collaboration withdepartmental medicalmanagement.
Attend andactivelyparticipatein staff meetings, financial review meetings,and administrative management meetings.
Provide administrative supportto Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services as needed, to includetakinganddisseminatingmeetingminutes as directed.
Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certificationispreferred.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’sdegree isrequired.
Master’s degreein businessadministration,public health,communications, administrative studies, social services, research administration, healthcareadministration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in research, social services, or medicalsetting.
Previousexperience working in a public health, healthcare clinical or administrative/operations environment is preferred.

USD $64,501.00/Yr.
Maximum pay range
USD $114,089.00/Yr.
