Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Controller to join our Data Center development team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an effective cost and commercial management process and reporting mechanism across the North America portfolio of projects. You will work closely with the North America Commercial Director and Project Team Commercial Managers to ensure all financial processes run smoothly from project inception to completion.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Lead Financial Oversight: Create and manage a cost and commercial management process while ensuring project forecasts align with current funding, billings, and month-end/yearly close-out activities.
Drive Change Control: Support the change control process by evaluating budget revisions, reviewing contractor invoices, and flagging potential risks or changes in a timely and transparent manner.
Ensure Governance & Compliance: Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the development of governance and training materials while ensuring all projects operate within approved parameters and organizational standards.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the delivery of mission-critical construction projects, specifically within corporate real estate or military settings.
Financial Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting, accounting, and the use of cost control systems such as Oracle, Tririga, or Google Live Sheets.
Strong Leadership: Proven ability to influence stakeholders through logical arguments, think creatively, and operate with substantial independence.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications like PMP or P.E. are industry-standard and highly desirable.

Reasonably expected salary range: $81,200.00 - $108,300.00
Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
