Position summary: Provides support for implementing and/or coordinating a wide range of administrative tasks for programs and projects. Responsibilities include contributing to project planning, administration, and oversight across multiple technical or operational areas, as well as assisting with initiatives that involve process improvements, system enhancements, and cross‑team collaboration. Also supports project managers and teams working on related programs or initiatives. This position is an on-site position at BWI Airport within the offices of the Maryland Aviation Administration.

Compensation for this position is $56,160.00 - $64,480.00 annually, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. We notice that we receive a wide variety of applicants and recognize that the person selected may be less experienced or more experienced. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Manage various programs and projects including client programs and process workflow administration
Coordinate work assignments for multiple Client programs or projects
Review analyze and make recommendations on task proposals and change orders
Oversee total project implementation to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, standards, and applicable special provisions
Attend meetings with client representatives, contractors and subcontractors
Assist with maintaining and supporting project financials
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and deliverable satisfies established quality requirements
Document management via MAA’s AirPortal Document Control System
Review baseline schedules and updates as needed
Provide scheduling, project feasibility review and budget management/analysis assistance
Organizing partnering sessions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
Required Experience
Highschool Diploma
5-8 years of administrative experience
Preferred Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience working with construction plans and field inspection documents preferred
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 85% of the time. Office work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Work is performed in the field 15% of the time. Work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
