CBRE Mobile Building and HVAC Technician in Baltimore, Maryland
About the Role:
Are you a skilled and reliable HVAC and building systems technician looking for a dynamic opportunity? CBRE is seeking a highly motivated Mobile Building and HVAC Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Technician, you will be a key player in maintaining and repairing HVAC and building systems across multiple commercial and industrial properties. You'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of these systems, contributing to a comfortable and productive environment for our clients.
What You'll Do:
Hands-on Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of building mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, equipment, and facilities.
System Installation & Modification: Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Work Order Management: Efficiently review assigned work orders, estimate the time and materials required, and manage the completion process.
Energy Efficiency Focus: Contribute to energy management initiatives by optimizing system performance for maximum efficiency.
Compliance & Safety: Inspect new and existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Problem Solving: Utilize established procedures to solve routine issues, working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Deliver Results: Execute tasks efficiently and accurately, following defined procedures and processes.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma is required. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Equivalent experience and education will be considered.
Essential Licenses: Universal EPA Certification is required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building systems.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow established work routines and standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively exchange information.
Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Math Skills: Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
Valid Driver's License: Required.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $55,0.36.80 annually [or $26.46 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $72,800annually [or $35.00 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
