How you’ll make an impact in this role
Deliver compassionate clinical care by performing screenings, vaccinations, and specimen collection to provide immediate health interventions for underserved populations.
Orchestrate daily mobile clinic operations by managing resources and coordinating staff to ensure every patient is seen in a timely, professional environment.
Mentor and develop the clinical team by overseeing the orientation of new associates and monitoring work quality to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.
Manage vital medical infrastructure through precise inventory control ensuring the unit is always fully equipped to serve the community.
Bridge the gap in patient health literacy by educating families on disease prevention and acting as a primary liaison with community agencies to secure long-term support for those in need.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority is accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
The Ascension St Agnes Mobile Health Unit is seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Southwest Baltimore. The ideal candidate will be clinically experienced, able to self-direct, and have a passion for providing healthcare services to underserved populations.
This position requires work outside of the St Agnes campus, at multiple community locations.
Working Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday. Must be available to work flexible daytime hours, including occasional weekends for special events.
Clinical Leadership Experience: Proven ability to self-direct and lead shift operations within a physician practice or mobile health setting.
