Robert Half Human Resources Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of HR operations, including recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of HR practices.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

• Conduct thorough background checks to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition.

• Maintain and update HR records and documentation in compliance with organizational standards.

• Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and other HR-related matters.

• Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy using Paylocity software.

• Collaborate with the HR Director to implement strategies for improving employee engagement.

• Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies, addressing any discrepancies as needed.

• Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making and performance tracking.

• Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs focused on attention to detail for staff. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration, ideally in a similar role.

• Proficiency in conducting background checks and ensuring compliance with hiring standards.

• Familiarity with HR software, particularly Paylocity, is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and management.

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations applicable to the state of Maryland.

• Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
