ManpowerGroup Data Center Technician 3 in Baltimore, Maryland

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Center Technician 3 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician 3, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting Baltimore's critical facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and site monitoring, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay: $42/hr

Assignment Duration: 5.5–6 month contract

Shift: Friday–Sunday 12-hour shifts: 11:00 AM–11:00 PM (day) or 11:00 PM–11:00 AM (night).

What's the Job?

  • Operate and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems within the data center.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and site monitoring, including pumps and fire systems.

  • Conduct temperature engineering rounds and site inspections, checking and recording operational data.

  • Coordinate with JLL engineers and outside contractors to resolve issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Respond promptly to electrical and mechanical issues, minimizing risks and ensuring continuous operations.

What's Needed?

  • 5-7 years of experience in a relevant technical environment.

  • Basic HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression skills.

  • Prior experience supporting mission-critical facilities preferred.

  • Electrical or mechanical license is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
