Robert Half Customer Service Representative II in Baltimore, Maryland
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative II to support vehicle intake operations at an impound facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This Contract position focuses on reviewing documentation, recording accurate vehicle information, and helping maintain secure handling of keys and personal property. The role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry, and able to provide dependable customer service in a fast-paced administrative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Receive and examine incoming paperwork for towed vehicles, confirm that required details are complete, and process documents for intake.
• Compare police reports and related records against vehicle information, including identification numbers, impound reason, and key location, then assign the appropriate intake code.
• Inspect arriving vehicles to confirm identifying details such as tag number, make, model, color, year, and odometer reading, and note any discrepancies.
• Document vehicle condition by checking for damage, valuables, and special modifications, and escalate potential security concerns when needed.
• Capture photographs of vehicles, including visible damage and other important condition details, to support accurate intake records.
• Receive, log, and secure vehicle keys, while completing required key tracking documentation.
• Remove visible valuables when required, record items on property forms, and transfer belongings to a secured storage area using established procedures.
• Complete inventory and intake records, enter vehicle data into the database, upload images, and assemble all supporting documentation for supervisor review.
• Mark vehicles with tracking details and maintain a daily record of impounded units to support organized lot operations. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in office support, administrative processing, or a related environment preferred.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable reviewing documents, identifying discrepancies, and following established procedures for intake and documentation.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain security of keys, valuables, and vehicle records.
• Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills when interacting with internal teams, vendors, or the public.
