Automation Technician / PLC Technician

DigitaLogic is hiring an experienced Automation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCbased systems. Former military technicians (electronics, avionics, instrumentation) are strongly encouraged to apply. This role offers strong long-term

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and support PLCs and automated equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance
- Test, calibrate, and verify system functionality
- Work with engineers and technicians to improve performance
- Document all maintenance and repair activities
Qualifications
- 3+ years as an Automation or PLC Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Experience with electrical systems and EandI
- Ability to create technical drawings (drafting)
- Comfortable using computers, including Excel and Word
- Former military electronics/avionics experience is a plus
Requirements
- Standard 40 hr. week in the office
- Ability to travel and perform field work as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical tasks
