Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Ballston Spa, NY
Pay: $21-$23/hour
Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday
Job Description
This position is responsible for conducting functional tests, troubleshooting components, and validating products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The technician works closely with engineering and production teams to identify issues, document results, and support continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical, electronic, and functional testing on assemblies and systems.
Diagnose faults, perform root‑cause analysis, and assist in corrective actions.
Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and automated test rigs.
Record test data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with engineers to refine test procedures and support product validation.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all testing activities.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience as a quality technician or test technician in electronics, semiconductor, or mechanical manufacturing.
Experience using multi-meter, ammeter, volt meter, and low voltage power supply for testing procedures.
Ability to solder; J-Standard preferred but not required.
Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, well-organized, and equipped with all necessary tools. Employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes and work pants, with dressing in layers recommended for outdoor tasks during fall and winter.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
