ManpowerGroup 2nd shift production operator in Ballston Spa, New York

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Operator to join our manufacturing client in Ballston Spa, NY. This role is responsible for safely operating production equipment, handling silicone materials, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment used in processing and packaging

  • Accurately measure, mix, and handle materials according to work instructions and batch records

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality guidelines

  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards

  • Complete production documentation, batch records, and shift reports accurately and on time

  • Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment

  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors or maintenance staff

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem solving

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records

  • Basic math and measurement skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/industrial setting

  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay with shift differential for 2nd shift
