Description:

As a Demi Chef Bakery , you demonstrate a strong passion for delivering exceptional, high‑quality Bakery products aligned with Hyatt brand standards. You support the Chef de Partie in leading a small pastry team to produce consistent, innovative, and visually refined desserts and bakery items that enhance the overall guest experience.

You ensure all pastry operations are executed with excellence, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety in accordance with Hyatt policies and procedures. With a solid understanding of pastry fundamentals and general culinary operations, you work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment while consistently delivering products that reflect attention to detail and elegance.

You take pride in mentoring team members, promoting teamwork, and contributing to daily operational goals, departmental standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Culinary qualification in bakery or a related field:

Strong passion for pastry, desserts, and refined culinary presentation

Ability to support team leadership with effective communication and professionalism

Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards

Good command of the English language

Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining Hyatt’s service and quality standards
