Robert Half Inside Sales Representative in Baldwin Park, California

Description We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Baldwin Park, California. In this role, you will play a key part in driving sales growth and fostering relationships with both new and existing clients, particularly within the food industry. This is a long-term contract position with opportunities for skill development and potential permanent placement based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.

• Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on leads to expand the customer base.

• Negotiate pricing, product availability, and terms to successfully close sales.

• Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable food products to meet their requirements.

• Process customer orders with accuracy and ensure timely delivery.

• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfillment and delivery schedules.

• Stay updated on market trends, pricing changes, and product availability to provide informed recommendations.

• Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals.

• Provide exceptional customer service during onboarding and throughout the sales journey.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer experiences. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, with a preference for candidates familiar with the food industry.

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a proven track record of closing sales.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and basic software applications.

• A detail-oriented and customer-focused approach to all interactions.
