We are accepting applications for: Seasonal Museum Aide Date Posted: March 02, 2026 First Review of Applications: March 30, 2026 Closing Date: April 20, 2026 About the Position and Department: The Museum Aide is under the direct supervision of the Curator. This is a thirty (30) hours per week seasonal position. The O'Fallon Museum offers a variety of exhibits, collections, and programs showcasing the history of our community. Position Overview: This position assists with museum operations including preparation of exhibits and collections, preparation of objects for storage, greeting visitors, cleaning, general maintenance projects, and conducting tours. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Starting wage is $15.00 per hour! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Required Education and Experience: Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age. Preferred Education and Experience: Previous experience working within a museum setting and/or historical venue is preferred. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: This position requires unsupervised contact with juveniles and/or elderly and is subject a pre-employment criminal background check.
