FALLON COUNTY SEASONAL FAIRGROUNDS CREW HAND in BAKER, Montana
We are accepting applications for: Seasonal Fairgrounds Crew Hand Date Posted: March 02, 2026 First Review of Applications: March 30, 2026 Closing Date: April 20, 2026 About the Position and Department: The Fairgrounds Crew Hand is under the direct supervision of the Fairgrounds Manager. Will also receive direction from the Fallon County Fair Board. This is a full-time seasonal position. The Fallon County Fairgrounds provides a variety of events for our community, including the annual Fallon County Fair. This position requires working before and during the Fair; if available, may also work after the Fair. Position Overview: This position performs a variety of maintenance tasks at the Fairgrounds including but not limited to lawn care, trimming trees, painting, cleaning, and repair of standing structures to prepare for the Fallon County Fair. Break down various temporary structures, clean grounds, clean equipment, and prepare items for storage. Performs extensive outside manual labor in a variety of weather conditions. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Starting wage is $15.00 per hour! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Required Education and Experience: Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age. Preferred Education and Experience: Previous experience with grounds and/or general maintenance is preferred. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must possess a valid Driver License. This position will use County owned vehicles and/or equipment and is subject to a motor vehicle driving history review.
