City of Bainbridge Island Construction Inspector in Bainbridge Island, Washington
The Engineering Division is a group of 20 staff who work closely together to support planning and project delivery for multi-modal transportation and utility projects, providing high-quality customer service for the community. There are two Construction Inspector positions in the division: one in the Capital group, and one in the Development group. This recruitment is to fill the Construction Inspector position in the Capital group, which as a whole is working on a host of projects, including large-scale utility upgrades, sustainable transportation implementation, and trail and non-motorized facility planning and construction.
The ideal candidate: • Has construction and plan review experience, and materials testing knowledge; • Is comfortable communicating with contractors and others in the field; and • is highly organized and able to maintain project records and documentation.
