Your responsibilities:

• Support of EU Data Protection Officer

• Acting as global business partner for data protection related enquiries

• Advising and monitoring Data Protection compliance incl. Internal and external Audits (on-site/remote)

• Supporting compliance with Fresenius Medical Care’s corporate guidelines and governance policies

• Identifying potential risks and developing appropriate (preventive) mitigating actions

• Automating standard processes

• Training on Data Protection and AI

Your Profile:

• Law degree required

• Additional certification in Data Protection and/or AI governance is a plus

• 3+ years post-qualification experience in Data Protection

• Sound knowledge of the GDPR, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU AI Act

• New technology-oriented mindset

• Advanced skills and experience in negotiating and advising on complex or high value/risk matters

• Ability to translate a wide variety of principles and complex legal requirements into actionable solutions for the business

• High degree of integrity, confidentiality, trust and accountability

• Excellent organizational, facilitation, communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work autonomously, yet a team player

• Strong result driven attitude, flexible, strong ethical backbone

• Humor and self-modesty, whilst working with highest professionalism and motivation for the company

• Fluent in German and English
